ENSYSTRA Summer School
Participants of the ENSYSTRA project look back on a successful visit to the ENSYSTRA Summer School in Flensburg (Germany), which took place between 3 and 7 September. The Summer School 'Energy System Modeling' was established for ENSYSTRA researchers at the beginning of their research project and brought together researchers in the field of energy system modeling and analysis.
Training PhD students.
ENSYSTRA trains 15 PhD candidates in all facets of the energy transition. Due to the diverse backgrounds of the ENSYSTRA PhD candidates, the development of interdisciplinary understanding and collaboration was the main goal of the Summer School. In addition to various lectures, ranging from "The Basics of Energy System Modeling" to advanced modeling techniques, the program focused on the PhD candidates' practical work and exchanges with various experts.
The Summer School provided opportunities for group work and discussions on relevant topics related to energy system modeling. In addition to activities aimed at expanding knowledge and practical skills, various networking events with partners and external participants were also organized during the Summer School.
