ConsenCUS End Conference

Join the ConsenCUS End Conference to explore innovative electrochemical CO2 capture and conversion for Net-Zero industry clusters.
Over the past 4 years, 19 partners from 7 different countries led by New Energy Coalition have demonstrated innovative electrochemical CO2 capture and conversion technologies in industries, with the aim of building Net-Zero industry clusters. We are eager to share the results with you!

About the programme
We have split the programme into two days.
Topics on 14 May
- Vision on CCUS in EU net-zero industry clusters
- The building blocks for net-zero industry clusters
- Social acceptance & and challenges and opportunities for CCUS in EU
This day will also provide an opportunity for networking and the chance to visit the CCSA EU conference, also taking place that day in Brussels.
Topics on 15 May
- Technological Innovations and demonstration results of ConsenCUS
- Techno-economic performance and next steps
A schedule for the programme will be announced shortly.

About ConsenCUS
Within ConsenCUS (Carbon Neutral Clusters through Electricity-based Innovations in Capture, Conversion, Usage and Storage), an innovative way to capture and reuse CO2 is being designed and tested. By capturing and reusing fossil CO2, less fossil CO2 is ultimately emitted. By doing this in the ConsenCUS way, you can use renewable electricity as the raw material for this process, which makes the capture process more efficient and cleaner compared to conventional methods. This way, work is done on reducing our CO2 emissions to combat climate change.
