Setting up Hydrogen Valleys in Europe
The development of Hydrogen Valleys is crucial for a sustainable hydrogen economy, but how do you bring theory and practice together?
Renewable hydrogen is considered a key energy carrier in global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A hydrogen valley is an ecosystem where renewable hydrogen can be produced, transported, and used locally in various sectors. Establishing Hydrogen Valleys is crucial for producing and using clean hydrogen locally, but they are not easily achieved. On October 5, 2023, the Green Hysland project, in which New Energy Coalition is participating, the workshop "Setting up Hydrogen Valleys in Europe: from theory to practice." This workshop, held on the Dutch island of Vlieland, offers theoretical insights and practical tips on Hydrogen Valleys and their development. During the workshop, a presentation will be given on various Hydrogen Valleys, including the one in the Northern Netherlands, HEAVENN.
