Wind meets Gas annually brings together more than 500 international professionals from the energy industry, government, and academia to discuss the latest developments and share knowledge on hydrogen and offshore energy. You will have the opportunity to generate new business opportunities during one-on-one matchmaking sessions with other participants and at the exclusive networking dinner. On Friday, we also invite the younger generation to join the discussion.
Back to the Future, building the energy system of tomorrow
Ten years of Wind meets Gas is a great moment to look back, but also to look ahead. Under the theme Back to the Future, we explore which choices will determine the energy system of the next ten years.
Offshore wind, hydrogen, CO₂ infrastructure, biomass, and industrial sustainability are becoming increasingly interconnected. As a result, the North Sea Region is developing into an integrated energy and carbon system, in which various energy carriers and infrastructures converge.
The central question during Wind meets Gas 2026 is therefore: how can electrons and molecules contribute together to a sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy system?
During these two days, leading professionals, policymakers, innovators, and young professionals come together for keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive sessions.
On Thursday, October 8, the North Sea as an integrated energy system takes center stage. We will look at, among other things, the connection between offshore wind, hydrogen, CO₂, and infrastructure, and the strategic role of ports as energy hubs.
Friday, October 9, focuses on regional practice and future leadership. How do we actually set the energy transition in motion? What innovations are needed, and what role does the next generation of energy professionals play in shaping the energy system of tomorrow?

Wind meets Gas 2026 marks the 10th edition of the event. A decade in which the energy sector has changed dramatically and in which new connections between wind, gas, hydrogen, CO₂, and other energy carriers have become increasingly important.
