Green Gas Trade Mission to Serbia and Hungary

Our Green Gas expert Ruud Paap visited a group of green gas entrepreneurs in Serbia and Hungary from February 5 to 8.

Both countries possess significant biomass potential, only a very small portion of which is currently being utilized. To explore whether this offers opportunities for Dutch entrepreneurs, the embassies in Serbia and Hungary organized a joint trade mission. Representatives from Perpetual Next, Regazz, Torrgas, VARO, Waste Transformers, Mavitec Green Energy, and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) also participated in the mission. The event connected major local stakeholders with their Dutch counterparts. Local organizations presented the market potential for biogas and biofuel production, as well as areas for potential collaboration.

Kees Kwant from RVO National Service and Ruud Paap shared the Dutch perspective and experience in the field of biogas.

This mission underlines the potential in the region and paves the way for more cooperation in this area with Dutch public and private partners.
