Tidal energy generation
Within the innovation project IANOS, a good example of such an investment is being tested by NOM: the TidalKite from Noord-NederlandThe company SeaQurrent®. The TidelKite is an underwater kite that generates energy from tidal currents. The TidalKite is currently being tested in the tidal inlet between Terschelling and Ameland and should initially be able to supply several hundred households on Ameland with tidal energy.
It's great that we can also contribute to the sustainable ambition with our technology, without spoiling the view and without having a major impact on nature.
