About H2 Train and Learn Hub

H2 Train and Learn Hub is a collaborative project in Noord-Nederland which trains students and professionals in the application of hydrogen technology. The project has received funding from the European Union through the Just Transition Fund (JTF). Partners of H2 Train and Learn Hub are Alfa-college, DC Terra, Noorderpoort, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, NHL Stenden, the University of Groningen, and New Energy Coalition.

The Just Transition Fund

The Just Transition Fund (JTF) is a European subsidy program. The JTF – also known as the 'Just Energy Transition Fund' – is a European fund for regions hardest hit by the transition to a green economy. With this, the European Union aims to reduce socio-economic inequality. The JTF stems from the European Green Deal, the program for a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. To facilitate this transition, Noord-Nederland 330 million euros have been pledged to achieve this until 2027. Several subsidies will be made available for this purpose in the coming years (up to 2027).
