Meet new talent at the Follow Energy Career Event!
Looking for new talents with a passion for energy and sustainability? Join the Follow Energy Career Event as a corporate partner! New Energy Coalition, University of Groningen (UG) and Hanze University of Applied Sciences jointly organise an energy matchmaking event on Tuesday 7 May 2019. The event aims to inform and inspire students about working in the energy sector.
Energy transition causes substantial job growth
The energy transition requires a vast increase of a new work force with a broad skillset to be prepared for the transforming energy sector (SER report 2018). The UG and Hanze University of Applied Sciences have therefore offered energy programmes to students interested in the energy sector for quite some time already. The Energy Academy Certificate, offered by New Energy Coalition, offers students the opportunity to work on a set of competitive skills in a variety of energy-related subjects besides their regular curriculum.
In order to increase the possibilities for these ambitious students to connect with the corporate energy world, the Follow Energy Career Event has been initiated and will take place on May 7 from 16:00-21:00. Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students get to know more about jobs in energy and they will meet energy professionals and experience what it’s like to work on energy issues.
