Meet Your Future in Energy Career Event is looking for pioneering companies and talent
The global energy transition is one of the biggest challenges the world faces. To accomplish this massive transformation, we need the best and brightest companies, innovations and people to contribute. That is why Energy Academy (part of New Energy Coalition) and Campus Groningen are organizing the online career event “Meet Your Future in Energy” on Tuesday 24 November 2020 (3:00 – 5:30 pm). Interaction and connection is will be facilitated during this event and the program is filled with interactive masterclasses from companies, webinars and there is enough time to get in touch with companies 1-on-1.
Access to the energy network
Energy is an important sector, both on a global scale and in the Dutch economy. Groningen is increasingly recognized as the center for energy. Historically, so much energy knowledge and expertise has been gathered here, “and Campus Groningen has easy access to top research, Human Capital, educational institutes and innovative energy companies,” adds Amber van der Schaaf, Communication & Events Campus Groningen. “The online event is a great opportunity for innovative companies on and around the Campus to get to know talent and vice versa.”
Collaboration Campus Groningen and Energy Academy
Energy is one of the social and economic themes at Campus Groningen and in the region. The Energy Academy is the place on the Campus to start an energy career. The Energy Academy is part of the New Energy Coalition; a collaboration of companies, research and educational institutions and governments that play a key role in the energy transition. “If you want to be at the forefront of the energy transition, start or boost your energy career, and turn innovative ideas into reality, then you have to be in Groningen, says Linda Flanderijn, Project Manager New Energy Coalition. “We are therefore looking forward to connecting (future) talent and innovative business with this event”.
About Meet Your Future in Energy Career Event
The planned digital career event offers the same opportunities as a physical event: workshops, 1-on-1 meetings, tour of the digital booths, leaving CVs and interesting network conversations. The digital platform offers plenty of opportunities for (inter) national talent and companies to come into contact with each other. The event is open to talent at MBO, HBO and WO level and for professionals within and outside the region. Continuing to sustainably connect and attract talent and businesses in the Northern Netherlands is an initiative and collaboration of the Municipality of Groningen, Make it in the North, Campus Groningen and Energy Academy (part of New Energy Coalition).
