Description
Hydrogen applications are being considered and experimented with on many farms. In cooperation with technical companies, they are looking for solutions for hydrogen production, storage and use on their farms. Agri-entrepreneurs are currently dealing with this individually while having similar issues, which slows down the energy transition. This can be avoided by connecting parties and addressing the challenges together. The Fieldlab will be the catalyst for this by facilitating a platform where agricultural parties can come together for the energy transition.
Our role
In the Fieldlab, New Energy Coalition actively supports entrepreneurs with their plans to incorporate hydrogen fuel applications into their businesses, particularly in technology, business cases, knowledge development and financing. We are also focused on developing Agri-Fieldlab and strengthening the hydrogen network in agri in North Holland North.
Partners
The Fieldlab Hydrogen in Agri consortium consists of 13 partners from the Netherlands. In addition to New Energy Coalition, Ontwikkelingsbedrijf Noord-Holland Noord, Greenport Noord-Holland Noord, Loonbedrijf Sturm-Jacobs (Sturm Jacobs), Next Generation Machinery BV (NGM), Rainbow Colors BV, Hydrogen Powered Solutions BV (H2PS), HYGRO Technology BV (HYGRO), Marees Cleanenergy BV (Avia Marees), Vertify, Hogeschool Inholland, Stichting Clusius ROC Kop (Vonk) are participating.
We also have an Expert Panel within the project with members from Rabobank, Achmea, Wageningen University & Research and Province of Noord-Holland.
