H2Business
Interreg project H2Business (H2B) provides entrepreneurs with clarity on hydrogen as an energy solution.
Goal
H2Business helps energy-intensive SMEs determine whether hydrogen is a suitable and future-proof energy solution for their operations. This enables entrepreneurs to make informed choices regarding the sustainability of their energy supply.
Description
H2Business supports energy-intensive SMEs with feasibility studies, field validations, and pilot projects involving hydrogen and other low-carbon technologies. By bringing together companies, knowledge institutions, and innovation partners from the Netherlands and Germany, the project investigates which solutions best align with business operations both technically and economically, and helps bring promising innovations to practice more quickly.
Impact on the region
H2Business (H2B) supports and accelerates the sustainability of SMEs in Noord-Nederland by actively identifying and guiding energy-intensive SMEs in collaboration with the NOM. These companies receive support with feasibility studies and small-scale innovation projects, enabling them to invest in sustainable hydrogen-based energy solutions with reduced risk. In doing so, the project contributes to a future-proof regional business community.
Our role
New Energy Coalition As a sub-partner of the NOM, supports the acquisition of participating SMEs and fulfills a business developer role within the project. We connect companies with relevant knowledge and new partners.
