Optimisation of biogas and green gas yields in digesters.
Goal
WhyCareMore (Waste, HYdrogen and CArbon dioxide: improved REactors and Micro Organisms for Renewable Energy applications) is about developing business models for improved biogas technologies through cooperation between knowledge institutes, large companies and SMEs active in biogas. Additionally, we work on supporting energy cooperatives to improve social acceptance of digestion plants.

Description
Green gas will play an important role in the transition to a sustainable energy supply. WhyCareMore helps maximise the volume of green gas from difficult-to-process biomass streams such as roadside and natural grass.
Onze rol
New Energy Coalition provides information from its network on relevant green gas developments and related business cases. We also have an active role in developing a methodology to support energy cooperations in gaining public acceptance for digestion plants.
