Webinar | North Sea Energy Projects under pressure; an outlook on offshore wind and the role of system integration on the North Sea
Meedoen is gratis. De voertaal is Engels.
Donderdag 16 april (13.00-14.00 CEST) is het de beurt aan onze inhouse expert Miralda van Schot om te praten over de vooruitzichten van energie-projecten in het Noordzee-gebied tijdens de webinar ‘North Sea Energy Projects under pressure; an outlook on offshore wind and the role of system integration on the North Sea’.
About the webinar
The North Sea can supply large quantities of energy: it’s location and limited depth make the area very suitable for large-scale renewable energy production. In addition, North Sea has a rich culture of gas extraction, and before being decommissioned the established infrastructure can be re-used. System integration positively affect the development of energy projects, however, the window of opportunities is small.
During this webinar our inhouse expert Miralda van Schot, together with TNO’s Rene Peters will discuss the challenges on the North Sea, the huge potential of offshore wind and why system integration can be the (much needed) accelerator for the energy transition.
We are acquiring a great deal of knowledge from the development of the North Sea as an energy region. About the generation of enormous quantities of offshore wind energy. About converting this stream into gas, for example hydrogen. About reusing oil and gas infrastructure to transport these sustainable gases. About storing CO2 in the seabed. And about the role of the ports in this energy region.
